rich almighty

Why is it that the rich get richer and the poor stay poor?
The rich get richer and the poor stay poor is something that the common people say, but is it actually true? In certain extents yes it is true. Due to globalization and big companies getting richer and bigger they start to have more control over the lives of people. In some cases they can have huge influences in countries. In America for example a huge company Wal-Mart controls its suppliers and its employees. The employees work for Wal-mart and the employee’s wages are returned to Wal-mart. Wal-mart doesn’t provide good insurance as well. So these employees of Wal-mart stay poor while Wal-mart continues to grow and get bigger.  In America the top 1% own 50% of the wealth in America. To leave the other 50% to the 99% left. This disparity is astronomical in number.

One factor in why the rich get richer is because of a better education. Due to the fact that the rich can afford expensive schools with the best teachers, while the poor either don’t go to school or end up in schools which are not regarded as top quality. If companies are hiring then they would obviously pick the student that has graduated from the Top universities, and the poor people that graduated from sub-standard universities are left with unwanted jobs that are payed with lower wages.
