Typhoon Haiyan (A.K.A Yolanda)

This signal number 4 typhoon ravaged the philippines november 8-9 in which 10,000 people have been declared dead and thousands misplaced and homeless. We could say that we were prepared for the coming typhoon but we did not expect the full capacity of the typhoons power. Even though news stations have reported on how strong the typhoon is our government weren't prepared. Storm surges swallowed the coastline whole and evacuation centers where children all drowned to death. Typhoon Haiyan is definitely one for the books, but knowing us Filipinos this event is something that we will put in the past and forget. It is hard to say how help with come with all the debris on the road however there will be a way.
